The organizing committee of the Enkidu Summer Conference 2006 has arranged for special discounted rates in a hotel located in the heart of Zona Rosa for all participants in the conference who would like to stay here. The hotel has all facilities and has been chosen as the Conference Hotel due to its excellent location in the middle of everything, its excellent service, its friendly and professional staff and because it provides accessibility for disabled guests. We are please to announce that Century Hotel is the Conference Hotel for Testimonial Texts: Stories, Lives and Memories.

As the Conference hotel for Testimonial Texts: Stories, Lives and Memories, a number of conference activities will be held in Century Hotel, a place with a wonderful and breathtaking view over the city, for instance the International Press Conference and social activities for the Conference Delegates. On Friday 2nd of June, the Conference Cocktail will take place in the lounge on the top floor of this hotel from where you can enjoy a spectacular view over the entire city.

Participants who would like to spend some time in Mexico before or after the Conference and experience this fascinating and colourful city should definitely take advantage of this special offer, most of all considering that in the immediate area around the Conference location there are few hotels with the exception of international chain hotels along the Anillo Periferico Avenue in the upper price categories. There are no other hotels in walking distance from the UPN and the hotels in the area are not well connected to the conference location by public transportation. We therefore recommend that participants live in hotels in areas close to the subway and take the subway to station "Universidad" in the Green Line (Line 3).

If you stay in Century Hotel, you can reach the conference by taking the pink line (line 2: Pantitlan - Observatorio) from metro station "INSURGENTES", located 50 meters from the hotel, to metro station "BALDERAS". Here you can change to the green line that will take you directly to UNIVERSIDAD, which is the final station on that line. Just outside metro station UNIVERSIDAD.
