5) Cultural Programs

The Enkidu Cultural Center in the central areas of Mexico City offers academic programs in Spanish for foreigners, as well as a wide range of courses in various other languages for Mexicans and foreigners of all ages. The language school offers intensive study in groups or to individual students of all ages as well as several additional programs for science, business and community work including a rich variety of courses in Mexican history and anthropology combined with field study excursions to archaeological and historic sites.

The Enkidu language school does not only offer structured and innovative study programs enabling the students to develop a command of grammar, vocabulary and conversation skills. We also offer advanced courses for students with the need to develop their literary techniques, creative writing skills or a specialized vocabulary within a specific field. We have long experience in aiding Spanish speaking scientists in developing skills in English scientific writing. PhD-candidates in the social sciences and the humanities needing to publish their dissertation or scientific articles in English will find our courses particularly useful. We also special programs for executives, diplomats, teachers and scientists in different fields.

We give our students intense personal and professional attention during the courses, employing a variety of teaching methods depending on the levels and the needs of our individual students. In the group sessions, role play and various communicative approaches are central elements.
