English Theater Workshop

Practical exercise in dramatic interpretation and play production.
The theater workshop is intended for theater
enthusiasts, either with or without experience on stage, for theater
students, and for trained actors who would like to perfect their English.
Development of aural/oral skills through the medium
of play reading. Practice in
pronunciation and phrase intonation.
Individual analysis of phonetic difficulties.
The course culminates in a production where the students will
perform a play on stage for an audience.
Four hours weekly; with additional individual
sessions. Open to students
with two or more semesters of English.
It may be taken concurrently with any intermediate or advanced
English Studies course.
