The Shambhala, Zipolite, Oaxaca Shambhala is a no drugs, no alcohol, restaurant and backpackers inn located on a clothing optional beach in Zipolite, Oaxaca, Mexico. For twenty-eight years it has been offered by Gloria Esperanza as a sacred ground devoted to heralding the truths common to all spiritual traditions.

Accommodations at Shambhala include hostel style bays with plenty of beds, rooms, and cabanas (some with private bathroom & shower). Bathrooms and showers are communal, but provide individual privacy. And we have a vault to keep your valuables safe. | |
